Hands-On Medical Esthetics Workshops
If you’ve had esthetic medical training in injectables but want to learn advanced techniques to feel confident treating any patient, then a hands-on workshop at ExpertEsthetics in Tampa Bay, Florida, is for you.
ExpertEsthetics’ workshops focus primarily on providing supervised experience performing the treatments vs didactics. With a maximum of three students per workshop, you’ll get plenty of personalized instruction and hands-on experience.
Individual classes can also be arranged if you prefer to combine two or more workshop topics.

Advanced Injectable Filler Course
Fillers used in this course include your choice of Juvederm, Revaness Versa, Radiesse, and Sculptra. Depending on your interests, techniques you’ll learn and practice during the class include facial assessment, global facial volume correction, feminizing and masculinizing filler treatments, tear trough, temple, subjowl sulci, biostimulants, oral commissure, negative vector correction, and more.
Scar Treatments With Subcision And Ablative Lasers
Learn how to assess scar types and determine the best treatment option for each. See a demonstration of and then perform subcision and filling of rolling scars. For boxcar or icepick scars, see a demonstration of and then perform fractionated ablative resurfacing. Learn how to reduce hypertrophied scars or keloids with either injections or fractionated ablative laser drug delivery.
Laser Skin Resurfacing
Learn to provide all of the treatments that are possible with the Sciton Joule Laser, including fractional ablative skin resurfacing, full surface laser resurfacing, laser ablation of benign skin growths, and the Laser Nanopeel.
Laser Vein Reduction With The Cutera Nd:YAG
Unwanted veins from facial telangiectasias to spider veins up to 3mm in diameter can safely be removed with the range of treatment parameters available on the Cutera Nd:YAG XEO laser. Learn how to use the laser’s cooling method to protect the skin and the correct settings for various size vessels.
IPL To Remove Spots, Hyperpigmentation and Redness
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) targets pigment and vessels while providing collagen and elastin stimulation. Of the esthetic devices, it probably has one of the narrowest therapeutic windows. Learn how to choose safe and effective treatment settings for various skin types.
Our Instructors
Cynthia Elliott, M.D. is the owner of the clinician training company, ExpertEsthetics, as well as the esthetic and regenerative practice, Skinspirations. Because of her reputation for results, she was invited to become a trainer and speaker in 2007 by Allergan, the makers of Botox and Juvederm. Suneva Medica (the makers of Bellafill permanent filler) and Cutera lasers brought her on to their expert training teams in 2008 and since then, she’s personally taught her techinques to over 250 clinicians. Chances are, if you’ve had an esthetic treatment in the Tampa Bay area, it was from a clinician trained by Dr. Elliott.

Dr. Stacy Chase is a full-time physician in the Bay Pines VA Health Care system and has also spent most of her career educating new physicians. She has been an Assistant Professor at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor at LECOM Bradenton, and in her spare time, is an esthetic injection instructor for ExpertEsthetics.
ExpertEsthetics Cosmetic Medical Training Information
Hands-on training in specific cosmetic medical techniques can usually be completed in one day or less in our office in Clearwater. Each student may bring up to three models who can benefit from the treatments they want to learn. Consent forms, treatment templates, patient instructions, and clinical before photos will be provided. Injectable products used during the course can be purchased from us at a discount from the usual retail price or students may supply their own. We limit the maximum number of students to three so each student gets as much attention as they desire.
Workshop Pricing
The price for a workshop is based on the number of students.
- One student – $2,000
- Two students – $1,700 each
- Three students – $1,500 each
Fees do not include the costs for fillers or neuromodulators. They can be purchased from Skinspirations at a discount or you may supply your own.
