MicroLaserPeels Minimize Skin Imperfections

How does it work?The MicroLaserPeel is done with a Sciton erbium laser. It produces a fresher, smoother surface anywhere on the body by vaporizing away up to 50 microns of skin. For the sake of comparison, microdermabrasion removes less than 10 microns. A MicroLaserPeel is the gentlest of the erbium laser skin resurfacing treatments.
What to Expect?
A cream anesthetic is applied before the treatment for about twenty minutes and nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is available if desired. A treatment to the full face takes about thirty minutes to perform. Most people say the treatment feels hot when it’s done and then they feel like they have a sunburn for a day or two. As soon as we finish each area, we apply soothing cold compresses and once the hot sensation subsides, we’ll put a thick moisturizer on. We provide you with all of the supplies you’ll need afterward, including a gentle cleanser and a paper pillowcase.
The treated skin is red for up to 5 days (occasionally longer, especially in extremely fair skin) with some peeling or flaking possible in the first few days. Results of the treatment are visible by the end of the first week and continue to improve for the following few months.
